Oliver Gehlen is the founder of OG-architects in Bali, Indonesia. He completed his architectural studies in the 90s at the Technical University of Munich, Germany and at ETH Zürich, Switzerland with a Masters qualification.

In 2001 Oliver Gehlen moved from Berlin to Indonesia and has been permanently working and living in Bali ever since. Before establishing his own OGarchitects office in 2004, he gained work and project experience in Berlin, Mumbai and France. He obtained a degree in Industrial Business Management from the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In Berlin and Potsdam Oliver Gehlen worked in the field of city quarter management. In Mumbai he was involved for several months in slum redevelopment projects and worked for marginalized urban communities.

Currently his engagement is focused on two areas:

1. Creating high quality architectural designs and buildings, as well as offering architectural consultancy from his base office in Bali. His attention to detail and to good architectural form and his experienced team of long term senior architects is the base of the success of OGarchitects.
2. With his background in and NLP technics and Organizational Development knowledge he conducts complex planning situations as facilitator and process consultant in different industries and NGO’s.
